Placement Auditions
All participants must audition for
proper seating & chamber ensemble placement prior to the Institute.
Participants ages 14 - 18 should prepare a short piece (MMEA Southeastern Massachusetts District /All-State level or similar). Adult participants may perform a piece of their choice. You
must call 1-888-EPIC BRASS (374-2272) to schedule a placement audition time. Check with your band director about auditions being held at your school or contact Epic Brass to make arrangements for auditions at your school.
Registration Information
Total Institute cost is $350 for commuting participants;
$295 if you register before Jan 1, 2006
$325 if you register before March 1, 2006
Room and board charges will apply to residential participants, call 1-888-EPIC BRASS for more information.
A nonrefundable
deposit of $75 is due with the returned registration. Balance is due on or before May 1, 2006.
There is a limited amount of financial aid available for students demonstrating financial need. Check
the box on the registration form to receive a financial aid form. Merit scholarships are awarded by the audition committee. Participating chamber ensembles will receive a 10% discount
per player. Participants that bring a friend who is accepted to attend the Institute will receive a $25 discount .
Insurance
Participants
must secure their own hospitalization and/or accident insurance.
A medical treatment release form is due prior to or upon arrival. This form will be mailed to you upon receipt of your registration form. All participant instruments should be covered by personal insurance policies. The Epic Brass Summer Institute cannot be responsible for the security of individual instruments or personal property.
