•  Brass Quintet Classroom Composers
 
An in-residence experience over three days.
Day 1 - Students meet with the players in their classroom to learn
                 about each brass insturment, eg. range, sound, special abilities.
Day 2 - With help from the group's director, Earl Raney,
                                   students notate their own melodies, and arrange them for brass quintet.
             Day 3 - Student compositions are performed by the Epic Brass
                         at a school performance or after school family concert.

Well-known musical treasures from John Williams, George Gershwin, John Philip Sousa,
W.C Handy, Leonard Bernstein, Aaron Copland, Henry Fillmore, Scott Joplin,
Herbert L. Clarke, Henry Mancini, Leroy Anderson, and others.
 
•  All That Jazz
History of Traditional jazz from African-American spirituals and Gospel
to Bourbon Street Blues and New Orleans Dixieland.

Epic Brass and percussionist performing popular favorites
 from Jazz, Swing, Rock, and Broadway.
 
•  A  Winter Festival Concert
Secular seasonal favorites including festive Renaissance music, Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker Suite,
Bizet's Farandole, Celebration, Sleigh Ride, Winter Wonderland, Let it Snow,
 Jingle Bells, Deck the Halls, Frosty the Snowman, and more.
 
•  The Holiday Show
Secular and/or sacred music celebrating Christmas and/or Chanukah.

•  After School Family Concert
Treat your community to a wonderful evening  of music from Baroque to Boogie Woogie,
with a constant array of surprises in between. It's a great way to follow up an Epic Brass residency,
as children bring their family and friends.  Often used as a fund-raiser,
this program is also a great way to build support for the arts in your community!

•  Make Your Own Funday
You choose a scoop of this music, a scoop of that music, and toppings
 to create a program that is perfectly suited for your age group's taste and occasion.
We have over 300 selections in our library.
 
•  Clinics (recommended for grades 5 – 12)
Designed for band brass sections, individual brass players, or the entire school band,
the Epic Brass will coach, rehearse, and demonstrate: warm ups, proper breathing,
sound production, tone, intonation, rhythm, articulation, solo, and ensemble playing.
 
•  Masterclasses (recommended for grades 9 – 12)
A group lesson with the corresponding member of the Epic Brass.
Coaching of the band brass section, chamber ensembles, and soloists.
